Nicole Deatherage was born and raised in Salina, KS. Nicole plays an active role with her children and their school, Southeast Of Saline, as Cheer Liaison and past roles as Trojan Parents Fun Night Fundraiser Committee Member and Chairman since 2016. Nicole is currently Business Office Manager for her husband and his business, Deatherage Construction. Nicole volunteers at her children’s school whenever she can and helps with charitable fundraisers throughout the community. Nicole is currently a member of Salina Community Theatres GUILD, Salina PBN and Salina Area Chamber of Commerce. Nicole’s Professional background includes Business Management, Human Resources and Strategic Planning and Development, Family planning for Mental Health and Wellness as well as Extensive Marketing and is a True Colors Trainer. Nicole’s professional summary includes, being a past member of Salina Human Resource Management Association (SHRMA) and being on various committees of SHRMA to include various special project committees, certification chairs and workforce development committees from 2003-2009 and again in 2012-2014. Nicole Served as President Elect of SHRMA from 2008-2009.
Nicole served as a Girl Scout Leader for
Troop #20011 from 2013-2014 and was a Girl Scouts of Central Kansas Woman of Achievement Nominee in 2005 for her various community involvements with her local church, employment endeavors and Salina Housing Authority housing and development committee. Nicole considers her community endeavors vital to create growth and positive change for the betterment of the community. Nicole is focused on empowering her members to seek out change and offer a helping hand and solutions to the World we live in. Nicole’s initiative on her latest endeavor, Lady In Red, is to be a leader of change and empower those around her to be the change they want to see in the world. In order to do this Nicole states, “to be successful, you must become truly intimate with yourself and committed to your goals.” Nicole encourages all Women to unleash the limitless possibilities inside themselves to create Worldly, positive change for all of humanity.

Meet the People Behind the Work
Linda Anderson is the Wellness & Prevention Coordinator at CKF Addiction Treatment in Salina, KS. Linda works with local and state coalitions to provide tobacco education and cessation resources to communities in Kansas. She has participated in Leadership Training through the Kansas Leadership Center. Prior to focusing on tobacco education and cessation resources, Linda worked for several years as a domestic violence and sexual assault advocate and in the Criminal Justice System. Linda has developed prevention programs, professional development trainings and other materials and consulted with a broad range of agencies. Ms. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies and Human Services from Kansas State University with a concentration area in conflict resolution. Her interests include public policy, social science research, and advocating for social justice.
Kim Rayas, is a Salina native and has many business and personal relationships that range from teen to seniors. Her passion is truly to inspire, encourage, and make a difference in the people she meets. Kim has two, grown, young men that are her everything. Currently, she is the Executive Director at Residence 600 and has many years in the senior living industry. In addition, she photographs for Vype High School Athletic Magazine and the Salina Journal. Kim has also worked in the medical field over 25 years, which led her to senior living and the desire to help the elderly. Her hobbies include photography, sports and family. Kim is a member of the Professional Business Network, Salina Alzheimer’s Association Walk, and is working on bringing more great things to light.

Lauren is the Store Manager of Salon Centric where she helps our beauty community (stylists and students) with everything from education to business. Currently, she is involved for a 2nd year with Salina Shares helping to fundraise for Laundry Love. Lauren is always looking for a way to help our community. Lauren also has a daughter in the Salina Symphony youth choir

Angela Fairbanks is a Midwestern Entrepreneur and Founder/President of Janzen Marketing, LLC. Her dba's include InspiredDesignShops.com, Your Authority Marketing Team©, and JFCA Promotions©. Angela has 30 years of experience as a Business Owner and
Franchise Owner/Operator. She also works one-on-one with clients on Productivity Coaching, and gives 2-3 day workshops on Professional Organizing and Time Management.
On a local level, Angela currently serves as President of PBN Salina (Professional
Business Networking), having been a member of that organization since 2012. She is also a member of the Salina Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Salina Downtown Inc Business Development Team. Angela was the Lindsborg Girl Scout
Troop 20335 Leader from 2010-2017. She and her husband Tim are members of the
First Salina United Methodist Church.
Angela’s trade articles on Video Marketing have appeared on major network
syndications such as NBC, CBS News, and ABC News, among dozens of others. She is
Google Certified and a Member of LIMA (Local Internet Marketers Association).
Angela and her family have lived in Lindsborg for 25 years. She has 7 children and 6
grandchildren. Now in her 18th year of homeschooling, she has only one child left at
home. Maintaining a home office has allowed her to fulfill this important calling.
As often as possible, Angela spends time in her Southern California home, and travels
with Tim. Writing, designing digital journals, creating rag rugs, gourmet cooking and
reading are among her hobbies.
