Cardiovascular disease, also referred to as heart disease, is a heart condition that involves the blockage or narrowing of blood vessels to the heart which can lead to a heart attack, recurrent chest pain, or stroke.
Founded by cardiac nurse and beauty wellness entrepreneur Mulan, the Lady in Red Initiative is a movement dedicated to transforming how women understand and care for their hearts — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Created in celebration of Heart Health Awareness Month, Lady in Red was born from the belief that wellness should feel beautiful, accessible, and empowering. What began as a single pop-up event has grown into a full-fledged community platform blending heart-health education with beauty, fitness, sisterhood, and intentional self-care.
Through curated events, expert panels, and hands-on activations, Lady in Red creates safe, inspiring environments where women can learn, connect, and take charge of their health — all while celebrating the power of femininity, self-expression, and community.
